CMR Project: Open Dialogue with Finsa and BM Italia
In the world of contemporary design, the real challenge is not just imagining a project, but turning it into a concrete, coherent, and functional realization. It was precisely on this crucial step that the seminar “Wood Materials for Interior Design” focused, promoted by the CMR Project: an open dialogue between Finsa and BM Italia, and held last week.
On March 26, 2026, the seminar offered a technical deep dive into materials, while also providing an important opportunity to explore the heart of the design process, thanks to BM Italia’s contribution.
From Concept to Execution
The seminar was led by Mohammed Hakim, who guided participants through a clear and practical journey: from the concept to the execution of a contract project.
This is a central topic for architects and designers, who face the complexity of turning an idea into a real space every day. Through practical case studies, operational methodologies, and field-tested know-how, BM Italia demonstrated how to manage all phases of a project: from selecting materials to their application, up to the final installation.
The seminar highlighted the value of an integrated approach, where design, technical expertise, and production constantly interact. In this context, wood and innovative materials proved to be fundamental design tools, capable of combining aesthetics, performance, and sustainability.
More than just a seminar, it was a training experience designed to provide concrete, immediately applicable tools, offering a direct view of the real dynamics of the contract design world.
