Applications may be submitted exclusively online on the "Bandi e Servizi" platform, starting October 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM, and ending December 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Applications will be evaluated in chronological order of submission, until available resources are exhausted.

The initiative is part of the Region's broader commitment to supporting quality tourism, promoting local excellence, and protecting structures that are an integral part of Lombardy's cultural heritage.

What does the grant consist of?

The grant provided by the "Historic and Quality Accommodation Structures 2025" call for applications consists of a non-repayable grant for businesses that manage accommodation facilities recognized for their historical and cultural value. The grant can be used to purchase functional furnishings and accessories needed to improve the quality of the accommodations and guest services.

The financial support is granted under the de minimis regime and is aimed at promoting renovation and enhancement of facilities, helping to preserve and enhance Lombardy's hospitality heritage. The grant is awarded through a one-stop-shop procedure, i.e., based on the chronological order of submission of applications, until available funds are exhausted.

Eligible Projects and Expenses

The "Historic and Quality Accommodation Facilities 2025" call supports projects carried out exclusively at a recognized local facility registered in the regional list of historic and quality accommodations.

Investments must be made at an active operational location in Lombardy and must involve a minimum expenditure of €20,000.

The grant consists of a non-repayable grant equal to 50% of eligible expenses, net of VAT.

The grant is awarded for an amount of up to €30,000.00, which may be increased if the grant is recalculated based on the remaining available resources. The minimum investment is €20,000.00.
The grant will be paid in a lump sum, subject to verification of the submitted financial statements.

Projects initiated from the date of application submission and duly described in the project proposal are eligible. Each company may submit only one application, pertaining to the recognized location receiving the investment.

The grant covers the purchase and installation of functional furnishings and accessories for the facility, including:

  • furnishings for bedrooms, internal and external common areas, reception areas, and offices;
  • furnishings for kitchens, bathrooms, and service areas;
  • furnishings and solutions to improve accessibility;
  • accessories such as curtains, rugs, lamps, mirrors, mattresses, and cushions;
  • custom-made furnishings;
  • transport and assembly costs, if included in the invoices

Additionally, minimal building and system work strictly necessary for the installation of furnishings is permitted, up to a maximum of 10% of the investment, provided they do not involve volumetric changes.

Expenses must be in the beneficiary's name, documented by receipted invoices, and incurred from the date of application submission until July 31, 2026 (with a possible extension to September 30, 2026, in justified and authorized cases). Expenses are net of VAT, except in cases where VAT is non-recoverable, a condition which must be declared by the beneficiary.
