New opportunity for Lombardy SMEs – the Lombardy Region's "Efficient Business Line" call for proposals is now open

The era of the Transition Plan 5.0 is coming to an end, but a new and concrete opportunity is opening up for Lombardy's small and medium-sized enterprises. BM Italia, always supporting companies on their journeys towards sustainable growth and innovation, is informing its clients and partners of the opening of the regional call for proposals "Investments – Efficient Business Line," promoted by the Lombardy Region.

A real opportunity for those investing in efficiency and sustainability

The measure provides access to:

Non-repayable grants of up to 30% for projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact by at least 30%;

Bank financing for the remainder, 70% guaranteed by the Lombardy Region, thanks to the support of Finlombarda S.p.A.

Who can participate?

All SMEs with operations in Lombardy, meeting the eligibility requirements and with an updated energy audit for the entire production site or specific processes.

Eligible Expenses

The call covers investments for:

Structural interventions and renovations;

Upgrades and replacement of systems and machinery;

Energy-saving and automation systems;

Installation of photovoltaic systems and low-impact technologies.

Minimum investment: €100,000 – maximum: €5,000,000, to be completed by 2027.

Timeframe

Opening date: September 16, 2025, 10:30 AM

Submission platform: "Bandi e Servizi" (Tenders and Services) of the Lombardy Region / Finlombarda S.p.A.
