An elegant 5-star hotel nestled in Courmayeur, comprising a refined clubhouse and three interconnected chalets. Contemporary and welcoming, with large windows and natural furnishings that blend modern design with an Alpine chalet atmosphere.
Production of furniture and accessories
BMItalia contributed to a major renovation of the Grand Hotel Cormayeur Mont Blanc, designed by architect Simone Del Portico's Studio Del Portico.
The project encompassed the entrance hall, boutique areas, and vertical circulation spaces, with particular attention to customization and the material integration between architecture and craftsmanship.
The cornerstone of the project is the floor-to-ceiling wooden sculpture, which extends within the stairwell like a true "architectural tree": a dramatic structure that accompanies visitors from the ground floor to the top floor guest rooms, becoming an integral part of the spatial experience.
All the elements—from the paneling with display cases to the tree structure—were custom-made by BMItalia, using reclaimed old wood, selected and crafted to enhance its imperfections and material character.
